Description
The MC 2D is a compact yet powerful modular hydraulic drilling unit, designed for versatility and performance. It can be mounted on scaffolding, crawlers, skid frames, or custom supports, and is compatible with 2″ to 4″ DTH hammers, augers, and coring tools.
The MC 2D is a compact hydraulic drilling rig with a separate power pack, specifically engineered for ground engineering applications in confined spaces, low-overhead environments, and hard-to-access job sites such as building interiors, basements, and small tunnels.
Its versatility stems from a fully articulated kinematic system—featuring two slew rings—and a modular mast design. Depending on site requirements, the MC 2D can be equipped with either a soundproof diesel power pack or an electric power pack.
Thanks to advanced modular hydraulic circuits, the rig supports a wide range of accessories and is adaptable to various rotary and rotary-percussion drilling techniques. For enhanced safety and efficiency, the MC 2D can be fitted with either hydraulic proportional servo-assisted controls or the Comacchio radio-control system.
